Ragging is strictly prohibited — punishment includes rustication/expulsion and prosecution.
Smoking, gambling in any form (even without money), alcohol, drugs and narcotics are prohibited.
Heaters / high-power electric gadgets and cooking inside rooms are strictly prohibited.
Do not waste food, electricity and water.
Rooms are equipped with cot, table, fan etc. — hand items back in serviceable condition when leaving.
You are personally responsible for your belongings; do not keep large valuables in the room.
Outsiders are not allowed to stay inside the hostel.
Switch off lights and fans when no one is in the room.
Take ID cards / mess cards from the hostel office.
After eating, leave the plate and cup in the designated place.
Do not argue with hostel workers.
Keep the rooms clean and tidy.
Be inside the hostel before 9.00 pm (morning out-time 5:30 am) on all days.
Once a room is allotted, further change of rooms is not permitted.
Do not damage hostel property — damage invites fine and stringent action.
All breakfast and meals are to be taken in the mess; food is not allowed to be carried to rooms.
Violation of the above rules attracts disciplinary action and fine up to ₹2,000.
